The 2011 Wilton House Classic Car and Supercar Day closed with record crowds flocking to see the large number of Supercars and the extensive display of classic cars. The air display was enjoyed by all and the Black Knights provided a thrilling parachute descent carrying the Stars Appeal flag. Over 70 trade stands and car clubs attended with close to 10,000 people attending. We all hope to build on these numbers for 2012.
In its 4th great year, the event formerly known as ‘Dads Day Out’ has evolved into a 2 day supercar extravaganza with something for everyone. Held at the home of Top Gear's test track The Supercar Event is shaping up to be a highlight of 2012 calendar. Where else can you pick from a list of the greatest supercars ever made and then be driven around at speed at the track where the McLaren supercar was developed & Michael Schumacher dressed up in white overalls. If you get time, why not try out the helicopter or hovercraft? Perhaps shop for your next car or admire your favourite one? Food & live bands all day. Remember - every penny raised goes directly to The Children's Trust.
Our 5th Summer open day will be held on Saturday June 16th between 10am-5pm. Whether you own a Supercar, thinking of buying one or simply want to see what Autofficina can offer, come on down and say 'Hello'.
As per previous events, there will be the UK's best burgers up for grabs although this time we will raise the bar again, along with Krispy Kreme doughnuts and the infamous ice cream van offering the biggest 99’s available anywhere! We are also proud to announce we will be supporting 'The Childrens Trust' this year. I’m sure you’ve heard of this great charity as The Supercar Event (nee Dad’s Day Out) support them every year at the Top Gear test track.
Once again the much loved Supercar Meet at Cliveden House is pencilled in for Sunday May 13th. With a great mix of around 170 both Vintage and Modern Supercar it's a must for any Supercar fan.
We will be exhibiting for the 5th year running at what is now one of Brooklands biggest events. Celebrating all things Italian, a great eclectic mix of anything Italian mostly with either 2 or 4 wheels! In previous years there have been over 200 Ferrari's alone. A possibility that the Enzo might take to the Mercedes Benz test track next door for some demonstration laps?? Either way come & say hello.
OK so I'm sitting on the fence but assuming the weather will be favourable I'm looking forward to pointing the car down to Goodwood in March for Tax Free Sunday. Whilst this means the morning will be highlighting cars of a certain vintage its usually a good opportunity for every petrol head to blow away the winter cobwebs. Fingers crossed for good weather....oh and an early Saturday night!
A grey and wet day only as far as the weather was concerned. Once again plenty of people took time out of their busy schedules to attend this growing and worthwhile cause taking injured service men around Brands Hatch. A gaggle of 458's running different aero packages was one of the highlights as the day switched between track and road cars at 30 minute intervals. At lunch time we were treated to a 30 minute demo of the race winning Benetton F1 car as driven by Piquet in 1990 coming 3rd in the world championship. After failing the noise limit in the morning Autofficina managed to sneak on in the decatted Enzo along with the F1 car.
Autofficina were invited to headline the UK launch of Forza Motorsport 4 where over £8m worth of vehicles were gathered in what was billed as one of London most expensive car parks. More than 20 supercars including a McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron & a carbon Pagani Zonda parked up in a London car park for the day. A selection of them also took to the roads of London en route to the car park, cruising past some of the capital's most recognisable landmarks, before taking up their spaces in the fantasy line up.
As per last year Little Havens Hospice held a charity track day at the Ford Research centre at Dunton. As with similar events a sum of money was paid in order to have a couple of passenger laps. Once again the weather was kind and plenty of money was raised for a very worthwhile charity.
Chelsea AutoLegends 2011 lived up to its billing as ‘London’s biggest show on wheels’. The automotive-themed festival hosted a mouth-watering array of over 600 of the finest classic, competition and supercars.
Building on the successes of last year’s inaugural Chelsea AutoLegends, this year’s event opened with a special dinner at the Royal Hospital on Saturday evening honouring many of the famous British patrons.
Right at the heart of the display was an impressive line-up of iconic Le Mans cars ranging from the Bentleys of the 1920s, through the Ferraris and Porsches of the 1960s and 1970s right up to today’s diesel prototypes.
An exciting new addition to Chelsea AutoLegends was an eye-popping cavalcade starring the cream of current motoring exotica including Aston Martin One-77, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Zonda and the McLaren MP4-12C
A wonderful run out to deepest Essex. For more information please contact us or visit http://www.hedinghamcastle.co.uk/

Our well attended Summer Open Day continues this year on June 11th from 10.00am till 5.00pm so if you own a Supercar, is there any excuse not to attend? As always there will be the UK's best burgers accompanied by Krispy Kreme doughnuts. This year we will be adding to trade supplier stands with Piloti & Caracalla exhibiting with whom we are now official distributors. Noble will also be bringing their £250k M600 Hypercar. The first customer cars are due to be delivered in the summer time. As always, any questions please call and speak to one of the team.
Sporting Legends - post 1970 sports, performance & GT cars plus a special celebration of the TVR marque.
Along with friends from Club Scud & PetrolHead Nirvana an action-packed event was had for the whole family at the home of BBC2's 'Top Gear' taking visitors for the ride of their life in an incredible Supercar. There were also lots of other exciting attractions to enjoy including spectacular and electrifying stunts, hovercraft rides, kids zone, helicopter, bus & fire engine rides & live music all day. The event raised over £100k for the Childrens Trust, Tadworth. Roll on 2012.
Our December 3rd open day was another fantastic event attracting the usual selection of mainly Italian exotica. Highlights included a 599 GTO, a heavily modified 458 Italia & one of the first Aventador's in the country (matt black paint not a wrap) driven directly from the factory a few days prior.
As usual the BBQ was fired up & we managed to munch our way through 150 of the UK's best burgers with each patty weighing in at 8 oz. and that's before we opened up the Krispy Kreme selection.
Fortunately the weather was kind yet again. Roll on June 2012 for our next get together.
The 3rd annual Wilton House supercar event proved to be bigger & better. Autofficina returned with a desire to take the title of the show's loudest car! We succeeded & left with the silverware.
Apart from the popular Rev -Off an amazing array of metal (and carbon fibre) lined up on the grass outside Wilton House for the PistonHeads sponsored supercar charity day, thanks to a great bunch of owners who rocked up to support the cause.
Highlights of the 160-plus supercar display included an Aston One-77, two Bugatti Veyrons, three Koenigseggs, two McLaren 12Cs, a Pagani Zonda, two Enzos and an F40, a Lamborghini Aventador, a pair of Moslers and, well you get the picture.
Another huge success at Cliveden House with a great mix of around 150 vintage and modern Ferrari's & Lamborghini's (plus a few other marques!). Some very grey skies but it stayed dry. Loved the 275 GTB!
Goodwood breakfast club met for it's biggest event of the year, Supercar Legends. Can this event get any more popular? I left Surrey at 5.45am & still had to queue to get in! As always the weather helped. There are only a couple of events in the country where you will get to see every type of Supercar....ever.
Could the weather have been better.......no! An exclusive meet of just 30 cars for a tour around London. Nice to see some old faces & well as a few new ones. Roll on summer. Please LIKE us on Facebook to keep up to date with our get togethers.
Autofficina attended for a 4th year. Once again we were very fortunate with the weather which brought out plenty of Italian exotica and as a special treat several Ferrari's were invited to parade around the Mercedes Benz World test track. Thanks to all our existing customers who came to say hello as well as the new customers who dropped by.
This popular annual event gathers again for a police escort into Horsham town centre. Surrey Ferrari Owners Club will be joining with Sussex resulting in 94 Ferrari's attending on Good Friday and the High Street will be closed off in order to display the cars. Autofficina will be one of the headlining cars. Please come & say hello if you get chance to get down there.
Autofficina were kindly invited to attend the Ferrari Owners Club meet in Puerto Banus. They are the only F club in the world to meet up every Sunday of the year so I'm told. A good chance to meet up with some old friends & admire some lovely cars along with guaranteed sunshine.
A fun day down at Peter's charity Goodwood track day. For those of you not familiar, Peter has a very impressive array or cars including a Pagani Zonda built especially for him. He very generously hires the track at his own expense then asks for people to contribute towards track time.
The first of the well attended breakfast meets starts up this Sunday 6th March 2011. Look forward to seeing you down there in something interesting. For all of the 2011 dates please see link http://www.goodwood.co.uk
Autofficina were invited to the world premier of the new Pagani in Milan. A spectacular evening at Pirelli's HQ where Horacio Pagani unveiled the new car along with talks from Francesco Gori of Pirelli, Martin Hart of AMG & Pagani's first ever customer Khadem Al Qubaisi who coincidentally owns 10% of Daimler Benz. The event continued at Bicocca degli Arcimboldis’s Castle for the dinner, and then back to admire other models produced by Pagani including the record breaking Zonda R. http://www.pagani.com/news/2011/world_premiere_pagani_huayra.aspx
Another successful and sunny event at the world famous Brooklands.
Despite the best efforts of the snow on the Friday before our Open Day a couple of hours of hard graft and 30kgs of salt soon got things back to normal. Thanks to all our customers & friends for making our December get together one of the best to date.
Our first year at Auto Italia at the famous Brooklands racing track & museum. Very fortunate with the weather which made a great day out for all that attended.
Our very first open day event 6 months after moving into our new premises.
